Brave aggressively blocks native web push hooks by default. If you prefer using Brave:
- Open the Vercel link.
- Click the Brave Shield icon in the address bar.
- Toggle the shields Down for this site.
- Click "Enable Notifications" again.
- Alternative: Open the link inside Google Chrome instead.
Apple restricts background web push notifications unless the site is added as a web app.
- Open the Vercel link exclusively in Safari (Chrome/Brave on iOS will not work).
- Tap the Share button (square icon with an up arrow) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down and select "Add to Home Screen".
- Close Safari, go to your iPhone's home screen, and open the new app icon.
